My Dearest Colleagues:
I spent a wonderful Christmas day and eve hanging out with a lot of Americans and Arab friends , I enjoyed it a lot.
Professionally, I attended an informative staff development this month, the principle talked about the performance standards domains. The essential standards are the professional responsibilities that reflect on teaching, maintaining accurate records, communicating with families, contributing to the school and the district, and growing and developing professionally.
Workshop about Physical Development of the Brain
Professionally, I attended the school workshop on The Physical Development Of The Human Brain, the lecturer was very informative & knowledgeable. He talked about The Brain Facts & why is this brain at risk, the long term outcomes of underage drinking and drug abuse, the components of trust: reliability, predictability, faith especially for the teenagers, the emotional intensity, migration & activation, the brain (200 billion cells). He also talked about the risk & motivation: family dysfunction, emotional & learning disorders, school failure & social isolation, the problem solving & risk taking. He explained the emotional competencies (self awareness, verbal access, emotional regulations, empathic response ,passionate interest), and finally he clarified the life changes that limited practice skills & dominant response.

Dear colleagues
I try to make a rapport with my students, In my first class. I passed out introduction sheets to know their interests , hobbies, what they would like to be, their dreams for future, ambitions, personalities, anything else they want to add. By this way I understand them and let them know me more.
I made an outreach presentation at the first assembly to the whole school trying to encourage them to value their education. I reinforce on what benefits & profits the education will provide them with, I told them about my personal experience , how education provided me with prestige job, money, opportunities to travel around the world . On Oct, I 'll make another presentation to the Lincoln School County ,I 'd like to discuss many things I've noticed , many issues in school. I give 3 presents every week to my clever students , they participate well in class. Next year a lot of students will apply for Arabic class. I make progress every day , using the audio visual aids , the cooperative techniques, the net for culture classes. The radio interview was marvelous , I only had 7 ms so I talked about US Department Of State & The American Council are highly intrigued in TCLP program , Egyptian & Chinese Exchange Teachers for teaching critical languages & cultures & how progress I achieved with my students. I met more than I anticipated. At last I 'll make a trip to California on Oct.
