The Kosovo American Education Fund (KAEF) is a perpetual education fund dedicated to providing promising Kosovars with a master’s level education at America’s best universities. KAEF provides future leaders with the tools they need to promote their community's economic development.
KAEF provides fellowships to U.S. universities for eight students from Kosovo per year. Students are selected through a transparent, merit-based competition that is open to all Kosovars. KAEF provides fellowships for graduate study in the following fields: business administration, economics, law, international affairs, public administration, journalism, environmental management, and public health.
KAEF applicants must convincingly demonstrate how their participation in the program will contribute to the economic development of Kosovo.
Given the pressing need for more and better training opportunities for talented Kosovars, American Councils for International Education is devoted to expanding the current KAEF endowment, thereby allowing the program to fund more fellowships annually.
