Dan Sundell

Dan Sundell is an experienced global executive who recently retired from Caterpillar Inc. where he was Vorsitzender der Geschäftsführung / President of Caterpillar Energy Solutions, headquartered in Mannheim, Germany, with operations in the U.S., Germany, and China. He had global responsibility for the business with teams throughout Europe, the Americas, Asia, Africa, and the Middle East.
 
Prior to this position, Mr. Sundell was a Product Manager responsible for Caterpillar engines and components, leading a global team located throughout the U.S., Germany, China, and India.
 
Throughout his career, Mr. Sundell has traveled extensively meeting with customers, suppliers, and business partners, and has excellent knowledge of global business requirements and trends. He holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Bradley University and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Western Illinois University. Mr. Sundell completed the DukeCE Executive Leadership Program, Oxford University’s Strategic Scenario Planning and Northwestern University’s eBusiness Strategies programs.
