Promoting Students' Intercultural Development Through Scenarios

American Councils' Dr. Dan E. Davidson will join a panel session at ACTFL's 2019 annual conference and expo in Washington, DC.

A collaborative initiative of the Language Flagship has created online, scenario-based intercultural modules for undergraduate learners of Arabic, Chinese, and Russian. The curriculum development was informed by a 360-degree survey of stakeholders in overseas programs on the cultural preparedness of students with Advanced+ language proficiency.
