American Councils is proud to administer life-changing, year-long cultural exchange programs. Occasionally, students face obstacles beyond the program’s scope, and a little bit of extra help is needed. This is where this fund becomes crucial.
For some students, particularly those from disadvantaged or underrepresented populations, even the cost of obtaining an international passport or a program-required medical test is prohibitively expensive. While on program, other students may face dental or other medical issues that far exceed what is covered by their program’s insurance.
